LS Industries Adds Parts to Website

LS Industries (www.lsindustries.com), which designs, engineers and manufactures metal cleaning equipment, has dedicated a part of its Internet site to replacement parts for its industrial equipment.

The new online sections highlight common parts replacement for blasters, dust collectors, washers, vibratory shakers and other industrial equipment. It includes photographs of the parts available so that users can identify the equipment parts they need and place orders.

LS Industires produces airless blasters, air blast, aqueous washers, vibratory tubs, dust collectors, and custom equipment, media and parts for cleaning, shot peening and surfacing preparation equipment for automotive/diesel, bridge, construction, fabrication, finishing, foundry, parts remanufacturing, powder coating, stamping, steel mills and service center industries.


Lincoln Electric Financial Outlook Presentation Available

John M. Stropki, chairman and chief executive officer of Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. (www.lincolnelectric.com), and Vincent K. Petrella, the company’s senior vice president and chief financial officer, made a presentation at the JPMorgan Annual Basics & Industrials Conference in New York City, on June 3.

The foundation launched the program in 2006 to address the critical need for recruitment and specialized training of entry-level welders while supporting industry workforce needs. It is an essential component of the AWS Foundation’s $10 million capital campaign, Welding for the Strength of America that is aimed at facilitating programs, scholarships and other initiatives in support of the welding industry.

At year-end 2007, the AWS Foundation had raised $2.6 million toward its campaign effort.
