National Standard has formed a strategic alliance with RevWires LLC that will supply flux-cored wire to complement their existing product lines.

National Standard, Niles, MI, a Heico Wire Co. subsidiary, is a large-volume supplier of solid carbon and stainless steel welding wire for the North American market. RevWires, Troy, OH, manufactures cored wires.

Cored wire products will complete National Standard’s product lines, the company stated. Jim Hillebrandt, Heico Wire Co. president and CEO stated: “The addition of these unique new products will help us better serve our customers and we look forward to making these industry leading products available to them.”

National Standard called the partnership and new product launch “a critical step … to meet its strategic objective to be a full product line supplier to the welding industry.”

It also said the new cored wire product line will provide sales and market opportunities to National Standard’s distributors.
