Messe Essen and the German Welding Society (DVS) are promising to present “the entire world of welding technology” at the 17th Essen Welding Show, an international trade fair to be staged September 14 to 19. Plans call for exhibitors and technical programs demonstrating a comprehensive overview of the latest developments and innovations in joining, cutting and surfacing.

About 1,000 exhibitors from more than 30 countries are already registered, and show managers expect to match the success of past events, notwithstanding the difficult global economy. Products that demonstrate the latest technologies, devices, machines, raw materials and systems for welding and cutting (as well as processes like bonding, soldering, thermal spraying, and heat treatment) will be exhibited in 18 halls.
