Witt-Gasetechnik GmbH (www.wittgas.com) said its new MG500 gas mixer has one of the highest flowrates available — 500 cu meters per hr. It contains an integrated analyzer that ensures the constant quality of the gas flow using an integrated automatic readjust function. With a standard internal heater, it is suitable for outdoor use to -20 C. The unit includes the new Gas Control 100 digital processor that Witt provides as a standard for all product lines. The mixer has a color touchscreen with a multi-lingual display that can be set according to user requirements allowing an operator to make all settings. Network control with data memory readout is also possible, together with remote maintenance by Witt.

During the Expowelding Trade Fair, the International Welding Fair in Sosnowiec, Poland, the MG500 mixer was judged best product.
