The Ground Hog clamp's large, copper contact point and sturdy clamping pressure facilitate the transfer of electrical current in a full circuit. To ensure a complete arc, the clamp assembly isolates the contact surface point and the point of transfer to the cable connection. The current flows from the work surface, to the copperhead, to the cable.
