Power to weld and gouge
The Lincoln
Electric Co. (www.lincolnelectric.com) introduced a multi-process,
inverter-based welding power source with a welding power output
range of 5 to 570 amps. The Invertec V450-PRO is intended for heavy
fabrication, such as performed by shops that weld with 0.0624-in.
or larger diameter welding wire electrodes and that provide arc
gouging repair with 0.375-in. carbon. The company says the machine
handles stick, TIG, MIG, flux-cored and gouging processes in
standard factory configuration, and has pulsing capability with the
advanced process panel kit.
