Self-adjusting welding control
Miyachi Unitek
Corp. (www.miyachiunitek.com) has
released an inverter resistance welding control with closed-loop
feedback, five feedback modes and built-in monitoring that the
company says boosts weld quality and welding productivity. In
addition, the manufacturer says the ISA-2000CR delivers more than
100,000 amps of welding current and feeds back data at a rate of
1,000 times per second. The company also says the control adjusts
for variations, such as high-oxide surface conditions of the parts
to be welded. Operators can set upper and lower limits for current,
voltage, power and time, and the unit alerts them when limits are
exceeded.
