The pierce-control system (PCS) on TC L 3030 and TC L 4030 laser-cutting machines monitors and adjusts pierce-hole parameters in real time. According to the manufacturer, this allows smaller laser cut holes and eliminates long dwell times. The machines are effective in materials ¹ /8 in. or thicker. TC L 3050 and TC L 4050 5,000-W machines also feature PCS.
