Steco Corp.'s Tap Magic Xtra-Foamy cutting fluid tackles hard-to-machine metals such as high-nickel alloys, inconel, titanium, and stainless steel, up to 45 Rockwell hardness. The fluid's foamy consistency reportedly makes gauging application rate and fluid presence easier. In addition, the fluid eliminates work hardening during cutting operations. And it contains EX-X3, the company's special additive said to boost performance.
