The FlexKAT travel carriage system automates and improves accuracy and quality of oxy-propane cutting on large diameter pipe. The system travels on special flexible track that runs around the outside circumference of the pipe. This unit's drive system and wheel assemblies enable it to travel along any plane. A torch can be mounted on the carriage to travel around the pipe at precisely controlled speeds producing severance and bevel cuts in steel. The pipes can be used to produce steel ledges for jack-up crane barges.
