A re-invented manual hold-down toggle clamp series featuring a new lean profile that offers more than twice the holding capacity in the same envelope size as previous generation models is available. It allows users to substitute a smaller and lighter-weight clamp. The 2002, 2007, and 2010 series clamps offer mounting hole patterns for additional flexibility. Clearance between the handle and the bar in the open position is greater on the clamp eliminating additional pinch points. The pivot point is closer to the mounting surface for improved vertical spindle contact on the work piece. In addition, the handle has been designed to accommodate the Toggle-Lock Plus safety release lever as an add-on option. The holding capacities of the new clamps, Series 2002 at 600 lbs., Series 2007 at 1,000 lbs., and the 2010 at 1,400 lbs., translates to two to three times more capacity than other products. New variations of the clamp are to be developed with bar, handle and base variations. Stainless steel styles will also be available.
