With in-head flash arrestors and three-tube construction, which keeps gases separate until mixed in the tip, the Dual Torch series provides extra safety. The units' large-diameter, heavy-wall stainless tubes handle high-volume gas flow for cutting up to 24-in.-thick steel. They have forged manganese-bronze hammer-style heads that reduce warping from heat and maintain a positive seat with the cutting tip. Because of their special soft seats, the tips may be changed by hand and are less likely to be damaged compared with metal-to-metal seat tips. The torches come with 75, 90, or 180° head angles in lengths from 17 to 48 in. They are covered by Smith's lifetime warranty.
