D.L. Ricci Corp. has added the Mid-Size (MS) to its other lines of Clamshells for cutting and beveling in-line pipe and tube. MS's compact design and power-to-weight ratio makes it well-suited for boring, flange facing, OD turning, RTJ grooves, and compound-angle weld preps in virtually all wall thickness and alloys. Features include the company's special fully adjustable bearing system for long cutting life; new gear clamping and motor mount for fast, secure set-ups; and a thick gear and housing cross-section for stability with heavy cutting.
