Braze Mates for brazing and soldering handle 2 to 4 parts/cycle, depending on the application. The machines have multiple torches attached to a retractable arm and provide automatic, timed heat control. Typical rates are 50 to 100 parts/hr. The operator loads a part into a stainless steel fixture, applies Fusion Paste Alloy to the joint area, then activates the heat, which automatically positions the burners in the heat zone. The machines' oscillating burners eliminate "hot spots" at the assembly joint area. The torches automatically retract to idle position once joining temperature is reached. Parts are then water-cooled and unloaded.
