Miller Electric reports its Miller Legend 302 is the only low-speed, gas-engine-driven welding generator that produces 5,500 W of peak power and 5,000 W of continuous power at 1,800 rpm. The units have 12-gallon tanks and a rated output of 240 amp/25 V at 3,000 rpm and 300 amp/25 V at 3,600 rpm. The Legend 302 has adaptive hot start for stick welding, and lift-arc/scratch start TIG with auto-stop, which helps prevent weld contamination. The unit's digital meters are easily read in direct sunlight.
