Safe & Sound is a one-stop, full-service radio frequency identification (RFID) tool-tracking and antitheft resource for the construction industry. Safe & Sound provides new Bosch power tools with product and serial numbers already burned to RFID tags located inside the tool.

As an alternative, the service provides a list of serial or product numbers for current Bosch or other manufacturers' inventoried products and RFID tags with the numbers burned in, for insertion by a qualified service professional. Safe & Sound features RFID-compatible ToolWatch SE tool-tracking software and mobile scanning hardware. Included with each RFID tag, either inserted or supplied, is a free EAS tag that triggers jobsite Acousto-Magnetic security portals installed at gateways and entryways.
