Lincoln's Power Ream nozzle-cleaning station removes and prevents spatter buildup in robotic cell MIG torches. A clamp holds the gun nozzle firmly in place while a constant-torque motor drives the high-speed reamer, removing spatter from the nozzle, contact tip, and gas diffuser. A sprayer then dispenses antispatter compound, coating the inside of the nozzle to prevent spatter buildup. The reamer features pushbutton programming, interactive process monitoring, and an automatic retry feature.
