Coil End Welder
The design of
the coil end welder offers a compact profile and is especially
suited for stamping lines, roll forming lines, and strip processing
lines where space constraints are an issue. The construction allows
both ends for the coil to remain stationary after shearing assuring
an accurate fit-up for proper welding. The design requires less
space in line that traditional coil joiners and can be positioned
close to the straightener, flattener, mill, or other machinery.
Different welding methods are available to reduce or eliminate
build up in the weld zone allowing the end joint to easily pass
through progressive dies and other roll tooling. The design is
available for strip widths up to 96 in.
