MG Systems and Welding (www.mg-systemswelding.com) said it expected to ship in April its 300th Titan II cutting machine. The machine was destined to go to Youngquist Brothers, a contractor for deep injection well systems that intended to use the machine for in-house manufacturing of its drilling rigs. The CNC machine was to be equipped with two ALFA oxyfuel torches and an HPR-260 plasma torch to cut carbon steel in the range from 10 gauge to 6 in. thick.
