Magswitch Technology Inc., with North American offices in Littleton, Colo., (www.magswitch.com.au) introduced its Magswitch welding ground clamp at the FabTech trade show in Chicago in early November.

The company said Magswitch is an innovative ground clamp that decreases setup and cleanup time and improves weld quality through better grounding. The company says the device is based on switchable magnetic technology, and can be used in a variety of applications, while eliminating problems such as clogging from ferrous debris and arcing often associated with magnetic grounds in the past.
