Safety Series Group Lock Box No. 498A makes lockouts easy. It allows each lockout point to be secured by a single, designated lock. The accompanying keys for those locks are then placed inside the box. After each authorized employee places his padlock on the unit, the captured keys cannot be removed nor equipment re-energized until all employees have removed their locks. The box accommodates up to 13 workers. It features heavy-duty steel construction with a durable, bright-red finish to identify the box as part of a company's safety-lockout program.
