The Model 4-500 benchtop tube weld head has a fixturing plate for high-production bench welding of short stick-out fittings, tubes, tube-to-valve bodies, and other similar assemblies. The system is suited for clean-room aseptic welding of components for the semiconductor, biopharmaceutical, aerospace, and other industries.

Shops can use the weld head alone or with a variety of stands and blocks to support valves, regulators, or tubing. Sturdy quick-release tooling provides a good grip.

Water cooling of both the base unit and the weld-head rotor reportedly permits welding duty cycles beyond the capability of other narrow weld heads. According to the manufacturer, the head solves fixturing and repetitive welding problems associated with small-diameter tubing and fittings.
