Welder/Generator
The GAW-135H
and GAW-180H welder/generators are light and compact power sources.
They provide arc welding characteristics and a consistent
performance. The 135H combines 135A of DC welding power and 1.5kW
AC output. With a dry weight of 110 lbs., the unit is easily
transported around the job site and fits into areas typically too
confined for larger units. This welder can be mounted to service
trucks or on high-reach baskets. It is ideal for a variety of
utility welding applications. A six-position dial with settings of
40, 60, 80, 100, 115, and 135 A controls the current. Fueled by a
5.5 hp Honda GX-200 gasoline engine, the unit boasts the
characteristics associated with larger machines. The 180H is a 180
A welder, 3kW generator combination. The unit is engineered with a
permanent magnet alternator that reduces the machine's weight to
242 lbs. An 11 hp Honda GX-340 engine powers the unit. It is well
suited for service trucks, fence companies, utilities and general
contractors and has an adjustable current range from 50 to 180 A. A
20-A GFCI receptacle and 30-twist lock receptacle are provided for
operator convenience. Its new arc force control feature lets the
operator fine-tune DC current during low voltage welding conditions
in addition to preventing electrodes from sticking during short arc
length welding. Standard features include wing nut connections for
welding cables, idle control, and low oil shutdown for operator
safety.
