3M reports each 5 in. 50 ft roll of its M-FL550DD absorbent absorbs 10.5 gallon of cutting oil, coolant, aqueous or petroleum-based liquid, and other non-aggressive fluid. Each roll is perforated every 16 in. for removing the right length needed. Each length configures as a pillow or boom or is unfolded as a pad or sheet. The sorbent is suitable for leaks under machinery, work surfaces, and forklifts and for wiping down oily tabletops, tools, and equipment.
