Koike Aronson/Ransome, Inc., a manufacturer of cutting and positioning equipment for metalworking, recently opened the latest expansion of its Arcade, N.Y., facility and used the opening of the expanded facility to celebrate its 90th year in business.
“Ninety years is a long time for any company, and the last four years have been the most profitable in our history,” Gerald J. Leary, chief executive of Koike, said.
The company’s most recent expansion includes a new 5-axis Sachman PX 120 machining center, and Leary said it will help to produce an increased number of products, including the comapny’s double- bevel Versagraph Millennium cutting machine.
The company has 172 employees at its Arcade location and expects to increase its workforce to 185 people by the end of 2008.
Koike Aronson designs and manufactures welding positioners and thermal cutting products, and portable and gas apparatus equipment.
