The company said its Tempil E-Stick combines micro- thermocouple technology with a digital readout to display surface temperatures with an accuracy of ±1 percent. The company said the new technology provides high accuracy and consistency of surface temperature measurement of ridged, polished or non-polished surfaces.
Also, Tempil's new Tempilstik Pro Indicator provides for easy one-handed operation. It features a Roll and Glide: Roll to advance the Tempilstik chalk cartridge and glide the chalk across the surface. The indicator is available in temperature ranges from 100 F to 700 F (38 C to 371 C).
Also new from Tempil is an electronic temperature indicating thermometer, the Tempil IRT-16. The unit is an infrared thermometer that measures temperature with a high degree of accuracy through reflected heat. A welder simply holds the gun, presses the trigger and aims the gun at the target metal. The temperature immediately appears in either degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius on the backlit liquid crystal display. It is available with a holster at no additional charge. National Institute of Standards and Technology certification is available.
