Worthington Cylinders (www.worthingtonindustries.com) said it would increase prices for all steel propane and fuel gas cylinders in sizes from 4.25 lb. to 420 lb., and for select high pressure and acetylene cylinders.

“Our raw material costs continue to skyrocket. We are aggressively working to minimize the impact of raw material cost increases through continuous improvement initiatives at our production facilities. However, due to the magnitude of these increases, we must adjust pricing accordingly,” Dusty McClintock, vice president of sales and marketing for Worthington Cylinders, said.

Prices will advance between 1 percent and 22 percent for new orders that ship on June 1.
