Linde North America has rebranded Spectra Gases Inc. to “Linde,” effective immediately.

Acquired in 2006, Spectra Gases is a global leader in next generation fine chemicals and high-purity gases. The brand change represents a significant milestone in the effort to integrate the company fully into Linde's global R&D, production, and distribution network.

The move is seen as a visible sign to customers and employees that Linde N.A. is now a single company under a single logo. “It makes sense to formalize this relationship by rebranding,” said Cliff Caldwell, v.p. pf electronic and special gases in North America. The Linde logo began to appear at Spectra Gases locations across the U.S. this fall.
