Hobart Brothers Inc. (www.hobartbrothers.com) expanded its line of gas-shielded filler metals with the introduction of three metal-cored wires designed for welding high tensile strength steels.

The company says Metalloy 90, Metalloy 100 and Metalloy 110 are suitable for welding castings, heavy equipment, ships, pressure vessels and offshore oil rigs and platforms, and have good Charpy V-Notch impact values. The wires are formulated for use with an argon/CO2 gas mixture.
