Hobart Brothers (www.hobartbrothers.com) introduced a new gasshielded, flux-cored wire designed for A514, A710 and similar HSLA and quenched and tempered steels. The company says its TM-101 wire features low-temperature impact toughness, tensile strengths in the 105,000 psi to 115,000 psi range, a smooth and stable arc, low spatter and a flat bead profile. It is available in 0.45-in. and 1/16-in. diameters.
