Duplex stainless steel
Rolled Alloys (www.rolledalloys.com) says its new LDX2101 stainless steel is considered a lean duplex because it has only 1.5 percent nickel and 0.3 percent molybdenum. The steel can be used in general-purpose stainless steel applications, and is available as plate, sheet and welding consumables.
