Hypertherm Inc. (www.hypertherm.com) is extending its SilverPlus technology to its HyDefinition HD3070 100-ampere (amp) oxygen process with the introduction of a SilverPlus electrode, shielded nozzle and shield adapter for the HD3070. The new electrode uses swirl ring, inner retaining cap and outer retaining cap from the company's standard 100-amp process. The company is offering a startup kit that includes three nozzle and electrode sets and other consumables that are needed to convert to SilverPlus.
