Tri-Mark metal-cored, gasshielded, carbon steel wires and Hobart gas-shielded, flux-cored, carbon steel wires tackle different applications. Tri-Mark wires include Metalloy Vantage, which reportedly leaves minimal silicon deposits that are almost self-peeling, and Metalloy 76 that improves wetting action while reducing cold lap on heavier steel sections.

The Hobart brand features FabCO RXR, for fillet and groove welds requiring extra deoxidation, and Excel Arc 71 to handle general-purpose fabrication and all-position welding.
