Water-soluble wire drawing lubricants, Houghto-Draw WD 4810 and Houghto-Draw WD 4812, reportedly provide lubricity, detergency, wetability, low-foam properties, and good fine separation for bright shiny wire. Both work in various systems and applications including rod breakdown, intermediate and multiwire applications, or quench/annealing systems.

Houghto-Draw WD 4810 is for manufacturing copper and tin-coated copper wire. WD 4812 resists microbial degradation in the manufacturing of copper and aluminum wire.
