Repair Compound
Lab-metal, a
one-part dent filler, solves difficult exterior patching problems
in transportation, construction, marine and metal finishing
industries. The compound spreads like paste and hardens into metal
by exposure to air. The aluminum-filled repair-and-patching
compound cosmetically fills, seals, patches, and smooths dents,
cracks, pinholes, and welded seams. Lab-metal withstands
temperatures as high as 350° F, and is not affected by cold to
-40° F. Rust resistant and impervious to gasoline, the metal
putty repairs vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery, trucks,
trailers, railcars, tractors, ships — almost any damaged
metal. The compound patches mufflers, engine blocks, oil pans, fuel
tanks, railings, roofs and more. The filler is available in 12 oz.,
24 oz., 48 oz., and five-gallon containers. Hi-Temp Lab-metal
withstands temperatures to 1,000° F, and is available in 14
oz., 24 oz., and gallon containers. Lab-solvent, thinner for the
compound, is available in 16 oz., gallon, and five-gallon
containers.
