The company said its Mercer Semi-Flexible discs are designed for grinding aluminum, copper, bronze and stainless steel.
In addition, the company said its silicon carbide grade discs are designed for working on adhesives, fiberglass, enamels, concrete and marble applications when fast stock removal is required or a finer finish is desired.
The company said the unique light weight spiral design of its discs permits them to run cooler and prevents loading. Also, the company said the slightly contoured profile it uses to produce the discs along with the medium grade rubber backing pad that it uses make the discs ideal for grinding irregular surfaces.
The discs are available with grits from 16-120 in 4½ in. and 7 in. diameters.
