(www.select-arc.com) says its Select 409C, 409C-Cb, and 409C-Ti stainless steel electrodes deliver smooth arc transfer with little spatter and good weld cosmetics, and handle poor fit-up better than solid wire with faster travel speeds. The ferritic metal-cored, composite electrodes are designed for welding exhaust system components, including catalytic converters and mufflers.
