Two updated, hardsurfacing alloy selector charges are available. The charts cover Colmonoy nickel-based alloys and are contained in two four page technical data sheets designated Tech-1J and PTA/HVOF Tech-1. The alloy selector chart is the industry standard for technical information on hardfacing nickel-based alloys. A secondary chart containing information on PTA and HVOF alloys is introduced for the first time. The Tech-1J data sheet has detailed information on the chemical and physical properties of 33 alloys. The PTA/HVOF Tech-1 sheet has an additional 10 PTA and seven HVOF alloys. Supplied forms, methods of application, descriptions, and typical uses are provided.
