Robroy Industries (www.robroy.com) developed a safety program that David Marshall, the company’s president and chief executive officer said includes all of the company’s associates as partners to ensure that the company’s entire working environment is safe for all.

Marshall said as a part of its Shield Program, Robroy Industries developed five guidelines that it determined were necessary for the program’s success, and that can be applied to any company.

The Robroy Industries’ five safety program guidelines are:

1) Habits: Maintain safe work habits.
2) Interaction: You are responsible for ensuring all your team members are informed and prepared to effectively do their job.
3) Education: Education and Proper Training pays off.
4) Lifestyle: Taking care of your mind and body determines how effective you’ll be on the job.
5) Diligence: Don’t take unnecessary risks.
