Spray for MIG nozzle protection
In a single spray, the
Torch Wizard Nozzle Spray Station from ELCo Inc. (www.wire-wizard.com) reduces spatter build up on MIG
welding nozzles. The company said it simultaneously coats the
nozzle bore, face and exterior. A pneumatic model is available for
semi-automatic applications, and an electric model that can be
actuated by a PLC controller is available for 5-pin connector
robotic applications. When used with Blue Magic or Blue Chill
Anti-Spatter, ELCo said the Nozzle Spray Station provides better
gas flow, improved weld quality, extended nozzle life and increased
weld cell up time. The unit can be mounted vertically or
horizontally to conform with a welding cell setup.
