EquiPro (www.equiproservice.com) services some of the most commonly used equipment in the light construction industry including welding equipment, concrete chain saws, pressure washers, portable air compressors, pneumatic tools, floor saws, rammers, vibroplates, rollers, and generators.

The company, a subsidiary of Wacker and a nationwide network of independently owned light construction equipment service centers, formed a partnership with The Lincoln Electric Company (www.lincolnelectric.com) in August, 2006, to provide fast turnaround and extensive on-site repair and re-delivery for Lincoln’s welding equipment.

Tapco-Enpro, a pipe and vessel fabricating company in Houston, Texas, is a customer that benefited from the partnership between EquiPro and Lincoln Electric.

The equipment that Tapco-Enpro owns and uses includes 200 Lincoln Electric welding machines, and the company needed to have them maintained on a regular basis, and evaluated to determine when they should be replaced.

Alan Franklin, EquiPro representative for Houston, said EquiPro and Lincoln Electric worked with Tapco- Enpro to service ten welding units at a time until the 200 welding machines were completed.

“The partnership between EquiPro and Lincoln Electric provides us with faster service when it comes to getting our products back,” Wayne Simmons, of Tapco- Enpro, said.

Lincoln Electric currently has 33 manufacturing locations, including operations, manufacturing alliances and joint ventures in 19 countries and a worldwide network of distributors and sales offices covering more than 160 countries, and works with EquiPro for after-sale support of its equipment.

EquiPro has twelve locations in nine states that have trained technicians ready to provide quick, consistent service to customers with an average turnaround time of three-to-five business days.
