Trumpf Group (www.us.trumpf.com) has acquired Advanced Fabricating Machinery, Canada.

Advanced Fabricating Machinery was formed July 1, 1997 by Trumpf Inc. and Robert Watson as a joint venture.

Trumpf said its acquisition of the fabricating machinery company contributes to its planned expansion of its fabricating and laser technology businesses in North America.

Robert Watson will continue to lead Advanced Fabricating Machinery, and it will provide sales and spare parts for Trumpf products in the Canadian market.
