NTC America—Laser Group (www.ntclaser.com) plans to introduce its advanced laser processing systems, including its TLM Series 5-axis model, that the company said can be used for three dimensional cutting, and its ultra-high speed TLZ-510 model of 3-axis, two dimensional cutting system at the FabTech exposition, in Chicago in November.
The TLM Series laser features a 2.5kW PRC CO2 laser, which is one of several lasers available for the TLM models. The models are available in six sizes with four power options to 6.0 kW, and size ranges from 51 in. by 51 in. (1,300 mm by 1,300 mm) to 110 in. by 169 in. (2,800 mm by 4,300 mm), and vertical travel to 31 in. (800mm). Controllable optical head angles of ±200 degrees, with an option to go to 359 degrees, and +180-degree rotation are the fourth and fifth axes. The company said its systems’ versatility is enhanced with an optional welding function and a sixth axis command.
The company said its TLZ Series of CO2 3-axis laser cutting systems provide fast laser processing with flying optics and cutting rates of up to 40,000 mm (1,575 in.) per minute along with rapid traverse speeds of 100,000 mm (3,937 in.) per minute in the X and Y axes, and 60,000 mm (2,362 in.) per minute for the Z axis.
The company said it offers power options to 5kW for deep penetration cuts.
