MG Systems and Welding Inc. (www.mg-systems-welding.com) of Menomonee Falls, Wis., has promoted Ronald W. Schneider to vice president for marketing. Schneider took the position on August 1.

He is responsible for all marketing, product management and field service activities.

Schneider joined MG Systems and Welding in September 1978 as a project engineer. His past responsibilities have included positions in engineering, service, quality assurance, product management and marketing. Most recently, he was the company’s marketing manager.

He now reports to Gary Norville, president of the company.

MG Systems and Welding Inc. produces thermal cutting machines for a variety of industries, including heavy duty equipment manufacturers, metal service centers, shipyards, job shops and fabricators.
