Hobart Brothers Co. (www.hobartbrothers.com) announced in late July that its employees have recorded 1.5 million man-hours of work without a lost time accident. The milestone was recorded as of June 30, and is the combined effort of 667 employees throughout the company's corporate office, five filler metal business units, Hobart Welding Products and Hobart Ground Power, a business unit that manufacturers equipment for the aerospace industry.

The company said in a prepared statement that, to reach that milestone, each of its business units had to exceed one year without a losttime accident.
