Kaliburn (www.kaliburn.net) developed a 275 amp, high-definition plasma cutting system that it says produces almost dross-free cuts with minimal face beveling. The Spirit275a system cuts steel to 1-in. thick in production. It has a maximum cutting capacity of 2 in. The machine includes the company's automatic gas console that automatically sets process parameters, displays the required torch parts and numbers, and monitors the parts' usable life.
