Bosch Power Tools and Accessories (www.boschtools.com) introduced eight small 1800-series angle grinders to replace its 1700-series models. The company says the new tools incorporate new grinder motor technology and airflow improvements that increase the life of the grinders by 40 percent over the previous models. The 4.5-in., 5-in., and 6-in. grinders were designed with additional channels at the top, bottom and sides to keep dust and debris from contaminating the inner workings of the grinders and to channel airflow to help keep the motor cool.
