The Lincoln Electric Co. (www.lincolnelectric.com) introduced six welding gun packages that each includes a pre-assembled Magnum welding gun. The semiautomatic guns feature short, gooseneck-shaped gun tubes, and are pre-fitted with components such as contact tip, gas diffuser, insulated gas nozzle, cable liner and appropriate gun connectors for use with industrial wire feeds. Each gun is rated 400 amps at 40 percent duty cycle with CO2 shielding gas, and each gun is configured for use with 0.035-in., 0.045-in., 0.052-in., or 1/16-in. GMAW or gas-shielded flux-cored operations.
