As part of its February 2005 acquisition, Central Wire of Perth, Ontario, renamed the Baltimore Welding Division of Techalloy Company to Techalloy Welding Products.

Techalloy Welding Products (www.techalloy.com) supplies stainless steel and nickel alloy welding wire and rods, and will continue to provide worldwide sales and technical service through its staff.

In a press release, Central Wire said its production facility in Perth will be joined with Techalloy Welding Products' manufacturing and warehousing capacity. The group's annual production capacity will be to more than 6,000 tons of welding consumables, and minimizes shipping times across North America.
