A special television series on "Super Tools" will feature hour-long segments about the uses of welding and plasma arc cutting equipment for building bridges and ships. The series will be shown on the History Channel on March 19.

The series covers the extreme tools used to build bridges and ships, and the tools used to build skyscrapers and tunnels.

The segments on bridges and ship building include Bruce Vernyi, the editor of Welding Design & Fabrication, as one of the featured guests speaking about welding used for bridge building and plasma arc cutting tools used for shipbuilding.

The series will be presented in a national telecast as four, onehour shows. The shows will be aired one after the other, and are tentatively set for prime time, but viewers should check their local listings for exact times.
